The Hipot Tester Model H216 is designed for
AC/DC Withstanding Voltage Testing and Insulation Resistance Testing (IR)
providing a safe and accurate test environment for the operator. The Model
H216 complies with the requirements of the electrical equipments and
appliance testing standard, UL, CSA and other international standards. The
Model H216 can be used for withstanding voltage tests of the various types
of electrical equipment and components. The Model H216 provides AC hipot
programmable to 5kV @ 40mA and DC hipot programmable to 6kV @ 10mA.

- Highly visible warning light indicator for HV output.
- Pass and fail lights with adjustable buzzer.
- Program lock-out feature to prevent user error or program changes.
- PLC remote control (9 pin connector); serial communication port (9
pins).
- Includes HV Test Pistol Model SP02 and black grounding lead.
- Test dielectric strength of electrical insulation.
- Test ground circuit continuity of 3-wire appliances and devices.
- Detect workmanship defects such as nicks in wires and components
mounted incorrectly.
- Locate defective components.
- Measure insulation resistance.
