A hot stick is an insulated pole, used by electric utility workers when engaged on live-line working on energized high-voltage electric power lines. With the Amprobe Model TIC-300 PRO attached to the end of the hot stick, it can be safely used to check for voltage.

The hot stick allows utility workers to safely perform operations on power lines without deenergizing them or while the state of the power line is not yet known.

• Used with TIC300 PRO for voltage higher than 1500V and up to 122,000V AC.
• The TIC 410A extends to 4ft (48").
